Amanda Merle
Director, Tech Adoption + Market Launch, Integrated Markets
As the Director of Tech Adoption + Market Launchm Amanda oversees a team dedicated to delivering high-impact IM Adopt programming that drives the adoption of technology and innovation. Amanda ensures operational efficiency and fosters strong stakeholder engagement across industry and the broader BC innovation ecosystem, while working collaboratively with other Innovate BC teams and programs to support the full continuum of grant programming offered by Innovate BC.
With over a decade of experience in cancer research and clinical trials, Amanda has worked in diverse environments spanning private, public, academic, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors. She managed the Canadian Cancer Clinical Trials Network, supporting over 50 research sites nationwide, and holds credentials as a Certified Project Manager and Certified Clinical Research Professional. Her MBA from Athabasca University reflects her focus on the intersection of science, strategy, and leadership within the innovation ecosystem.
Outside of work, Amanda is an equestrian coach and passionate animal lover, sharing her home with her 12-year-old Portuguese Water Dog, Chloe.
