Amanda Merle
Portfolio Lead, Integrated Markets
Amanda is the Portfolio Lead on Innovate BC’s Integrated Markets team, where she oversees testbeds at YVR, Prince Rupert Port Authority, and Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, while contributing to program design for future growth. Since joining Innovate BC in 2023, Amanda has brought a collaborative and strategic approach to advancing innovation partnerships.
With over a decade of experience in cancer research and clinical trials, Amanda has worked in diverse environments spanning private, public, academic, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors. She managed the Canadian Cancer Clinical Trials Network, supporting over 50 research sites nationwide, and holds credentials as a Certified Project Manager and Certified Clinical Research Professional. Her MBA from Athabasca University reflects her focus on the intersection of science, strategy, and leadership within the innovation ecosystem.
Outside of work, Amanda is an equestrian coach and passionate animal lover, sharing her home with her 12-year-old Portuguese Water Dog, Chloe.
