With a long history of working for Global Affairs Canada, Fernanda has experience designing and delivering trade promotion and investment attraction programs to support company growth and economic development in Canada. Over the years, Fernanda has provided advice and sector expertise to startups and SMEs on their market expansion plans, connecting them with qualified international contacts for R&D, commercialization, or sourcing of technology.
In her current capacity at Innovate BC, Fernanda is pursuing her passion for entrepreneurship, capacity building and growth, forging partnerships that enhance resources and supports to the innovation ecosystem in British Columbia.
Fernanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of São Paulo.
