Ignite Awards: We’re investing $1M in B.C. technology

In just two weeks, we will be awarding over $1,000,000 to four B.C. research projects through our Ignite Program. Join us virtually on June 17th at 3pm for the 2020 Ignite Awards to find out who's igniting change on a provincial and global scale.   

Innovate BC’s Ignite Program provides up to $300,000 to fund innovation projects in the areas of natural resources, applied science and engineering. 

Since the program's launch in 2016, Innovate BC has invested more than $6.5M into 28 research projects. Check out some of the past Ignite Award winners:
