The Road to Web Summit Vancouver

In support of Web Summit Vancouver, Innovate BC is proud to deliver a sector development initiative to help B.C. startups maximize their Web Summit Vancouver experience and capitalize on its potential to support their growth. This initiative is called ‘Road to Web Summit Vancouver, Powered by Innovate BC (R2WSV)’.

R2WSV is aimed at leveraging Web Summit as a platform to attract investors, acquire customers, and drive growth for B.C. companies. As a part of R2WSV, Innovate BC is working alongside partners across the ecosystem to develop and implement a comprehensive suite of programming, including events, training, development programs, and pitch competitions, that enable B.C. companies to capitalize on the opportunities available through Web Summit Vancouver. We aim to engage with partners that can also maximize participation from founders across British Columbia’s various sectors, regions, and diverse communities (including Indigenous, women, newcomers and people of colour).

Events + Programming 

The Road to Web Summit Vancouver, Powered by Innovate BC (R2WSV), will offer B.C. innovators and start-ups with specialized programs and events to support them in maximizing their conference experience. From developing your pitching skills to learning how to successfully engage media, this series of  programming will equip you with what you need to capitalize on the opportunities available at Web Summit Vancouver in May.
